I find myself involved in so many different conversations about education that I wanted to start writing down some of my thoughts, ideas, reactions, etc.  As someone who taught in the South Bronx for 5 years, has attended a graduate school of education for the last however many years, is connected and involved in education for liberation efforts at local, regional, and national levels, I figure I might have some things worth blogging about.  Or maybe not.  That’s for readers to decide, I guess.  My hope is that what I share on this blog helps us think more about how change in education can happen from the bottom-up, and how not to get stuck in the top-down mess that is currently the public education reform scene.
